Shipwrecked

the city hummed
and glittered
like a computer chip
in some unknowable machine
holding its secrets
like a poker hand.
i am lost in the wide ocean
floating like plankton.
i lay shipwrecked
on a desolate shore
littered with broken glass.
i know less than nothing.
planning my life
along the course of the lyrics
of popular songs.
i know less than nothing.
life is just sand
that slips through your hands.

Labor Intensive

Labor intensive,
Cool comprehensive,
Jaded and raided and faded away.
Face like a washcloth,
Bitten through by moths,
Tired, refried, like unhardened clay.
Words from my fingers,
Silently linger,
Writers block, forget this, too much hate to pay
.

Tears

 Tears on a pillow case
Messed up thoughts all out of place
A half-frown half-smile on your face
The feeling of something old and something new
Referring yourself to fresh morning dew
Feeling like your living a life among few

At least, that’s how it seems to me
